Hendricks (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Iowa, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Hendricks hasn't appeared in a major-league game since last July due to a shoulder injury that was eventually diagnosed as a capsule tear, so he'll need at least a couple of rehab outings to get properly built up.
