Clayton Kershaw said Tuesday that he and the Dodgers haven't opened talks on a contract extension.

Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said last week that there is "mutual interest" in getting something done, but it appears that nothing is imminent. Kershaw said Tuesday that he doesn't want to negotiate during the season, so if nothing gets done this spring, the Dodgers will have to wait until the offseason. The 24-year-old southpaw is under team control through 2014.
