The Mariners designated Fletcher for assignment Sunday, but he'll quickly find a new home with Pittsburgh. The southpaw spent most of the 2021 campaign at Triple-A Tacoma and logged a 3.47 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 49.1 innings across 39 relief appearances. He's made brief major-league appearances with Seattle across the last two years but seems most likely to begin the 2022 season at Triple-A Indianapolis.
