C.J. Wilson turned in just his second quality start in six August outings in Wednesday's 10-3 win over the Red Sox, allowing three runs on eight hits in six innings. Wilson struck out four and walked two in what could hardly be considered a sparkling outing, but it wasn't a bad night considering he entered this evening the owner of an 8.78 ERA through 26 2/3 August innings. Wilson's ERA is still a nightmarish 6.56 ERA in 59 frames since the All-Star break, however. Wilson will get the ball in game one of Los Angeles' critical three-game set in Oakland on Monday.
