C.J. Wilson is scheduled to have left elbow surgery on September 23. Wilson revealed after his final start of the regular season last week that he pitched through bone spurs for the last couple of months. It's not considered a major operation and he's expected to be ready for spring training next year. The 31-year-old southpaw posted a 3.83 ERA and 173/91 K/BB ratio in 202 1/3 innings this season.
