C.J. Wilson gave a valiant effort Tuesday, surrendering three runs over eight innings in a no-decision loss to the Yankees. The veteran wiggled out of a dangerous situation in the eighth inning, inducing a Brian McCann inning-ending double play with two on and one out on his 125th pitch. Wilson has gone over 110 pitches in all seven of his starts, painting a 4-2 record, 3.21 ERA and 1.13 WHIP. The southpaw heads north of the border for a showdown against the Blue Jays next week.
