Cishek now has three straight scoreless outings after a May 16 outing against the Athletics in which he gave up three earned runs on just one-third of an inning. The 30-year-old right-hander could be hitting his stride after getting a late start to his season following offseason hip surgery, and manager Scott Servais appears to have intentions of affording him a solid workload; despite not making his debut until May 15, Cishek logged five appearances during the month, the last three which were at least an inning in length.
