Cishek (hip) is set to play catch on back-to-back days, and he's been cleared to run on a treadmill, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
His recovery from microfracture hip surgery has reached a promising step. The veteran posted a 2.81 ERA with 76 K in 64 innings during 2016, and Seattle will take its time working him into the fold before he's 100 percent. Whenever he does return to big-league action, the 30-year-old likely will slowly be worked in before he reclaims his top setup role behind closer Edwin Diaz.
