Chris Tillman held the Rays to two runs in six-plus innings in winning Thursday. Tillman walked the first two batters he faced in the first, but he settled down after that and took a shutout into the seventh, when he walked Ryan Roberts and then gave up back-to-back doubles to Carlos Pena and Sam Fuld. Darren O'Day took over from there and stranded Fuld to keep the score 5-2. Tillman has won three of his four starts since debuting on July 4. Next up is a tougher test against the Yankees, so mixed leaguers may want to look elsewhere.
