Chris Tillman couldn't make it out of the opening frame Monday, getting blasted for seven runs - one earned - on five hits and two walks over 2/3 of an inning in a loss to the Twins. An error by Mark Reynolds saved his ERA, but there's no sugarcoating this one. Tillman showed improved velocity and held the Mariners scoreless over 8 1/3 innings the last time out, but it's clear he's not ready to be on mixed league rosters. If he gets another start, it will come against the Rays.
