Chris Tillman allowed two runs over seven innings and struck out eight to beat the Red Sox on Thursday. Tillman finally notched his 15th win on the fifth try. It was mostly bad luck that kept him from getting there earlier; his ERA dropped from 3.89 to 3.66 while he went 0-1 in his previous four starts. Of course, it took a whole lot of good luck to get him to 14-3 originally with that 3.89 ERA.
