Chris Stewart has been diagnosed with a head contusion. Stewart left Monday's game against the Dodgers in the sixth inning after getting hit in the head by Aaron Miles' backswing. The 29-year-old catcher later told reporters that his departure was precautionary. "We went the right approach and played it safe," Stewart said. "That way, I'm here for a little longer. If I got knocked out (again), who knows when I would have been back?"
