Chris Resop has elected free agency. Resop had been outrighted off Oakland's 40-man roster. The reliever was arbitration-eligible for a final time this winter, but the A's didn't have interest in tendering him a contract. He posted a 6.00 ERA and 13/10 K/BB ratio in 18 frames this season.
