Chris Perez (shoulder) pitched a perfect inning Tuesday in a rehab appearance with Class A Mahoning Valley.
Perez struck out one batter. The scoreless appearance should be enough to convince the Indians that he's ready to come off the disabled list.
Why? A scoreless inning at Class A ball is the same as pitching against Major Leaguers? I'm guessing Mahoning Valley's opponent fields a team of future Hall of Famers.
