Chris Parmelee homered for a second consecutive game in a losing effort against the Royals on Sunday. He finished the afternoon 2-for-4. His solo blast off Luis Mendoza in the second inning gave the Twins an early 2-0 lead, but they were unable to hold on. Parmelee is now hitting .227 with four homers and 10 RBI in 128 at-bats on the season, and should get a long look in the Twins' outfield over the final month of the season.
