San Diego Padres starter Chris Paddack was obliterated for nine runs (eight earned) in two innings Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. The right-hander had enjoyed some consistency lately, turning in six of eight solid outings, but the run abruptly ended in an unequivocal meltdown.
