Chris Nelson is currently sidelined with a bruised left heel. Nelson likely would have been included among the Rockies' September call-ups, but he suffered the injury in a game with Triple-A Colorado Springs on September 3. He is in a walking boot right now, but there's still a chance he will be able to return this month. The 25-year-old infielder is batting .231/.258/.340 with two homers, 12 RBI and a .597 OPS over 163 plate appearances with the Rockies this season.
