Chris Narveson will at least miss his next start after slicing his thumb while trying to repair his glove. It isn't quite carrying deer meet up a flight of stairs (Clint Barmes), but this still deserves consideration among some of the more bizarre injuries we've seen. The cut was severe enough to require eight stitches and he may ultimately need to be placed on the disabled list. Marco Estrada is one candidate to start in his place Friday night against the Pirates.
