Chris Narveson confirmed Tuesday that he needs season-ending surgery on his left (throwing) shoulder. Narveson was placed on the disabled list last week after he was found to have a tear in his left rotator cuff and decided on season-ending surgery after consulting with a couple of specialists early this week. The 30-year-old southpaw allowed seven earned runs, four walks and 10 hits in nine innings this year for the Brewers.
