Chris Heisey (oblique) left his first rehab game on Monday with Double-A Pensacola for precautionary reasons. Heisey was originally scheduled to play seven innings, but he left after he made a shoestring catch to end the top of the first inning. "I don't think he re-aggravated it, but I just didn't like the way he was moving and there is no reason to push that," said Pensacola manager Delino DeShields. "We are going to be as careful as we can with him. He probably won't play (tonight) and we'll see how it goes from there." The Reds were hoping Heisey would be ready to return by Friday, but his timeline will likely be pushed back now.
