Chris Heisey (hamstring) is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment Friday at Triple-A Louisville. Heisey will spend the entire weekend in Kentucky before returning to the Reds' active roster early next week. He has been on the disabled list since April 27 with a severe right hamstring strain and should take over starting left duties almost immediately upon returning.
