Chris Heisey doubled three times and walked in seven plate appearances against the Nationals on Monday. The Reds have often picked Skip Schumaker over Heisey as Jay Bruce's replacement lately, though they could certainly use Heisey's power in the lineup with their best slugger missing. Still, it's not like Heisey was making much of a case for playing time: he entered the day with a .175 average and no RBI in 40 at-bats this month.
