Seattle Mariners right-handed pitcher Chris Flexen is scheduled to start on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels. He will be taking the spot of Robbie Ray (elbow) who was placed on the IL with a Grade 1 flexor strain. Flexen put up a 3.73 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 95:51 K/BB ratio across 137 2/3 innings (22 starts, 33 appearances) last season with the M's. He's a solid bridge option for Seattle but offers no upside as a fantasy option. He can be left on the waiver wire.
