Chris Davis went 2-for-4 and hit his 39th homer against the Astros on Thursday. The homer off Travis Blackley was the 10th for Davis off a left-hander this season. Also, his strikeout streak was snapped after 24 games tonight. It was the first time since July 2 that he didn't whiff.
