Chris Davis (oblique) could begin a rehab assignment on Saturday. It's not clear which affiliate he'll be assigned to, but Davis will be cleared for game action assuming he gets through batting practice Friday with no issues (and BP isn't rained out, which Orioles manager Buck Showalter is worried about). The first baseman is in line to be activated early next week. "He's going to take regular BP tomorrow on the field off a coach, and if that goes well, and he comes in Saturday feeling good, we could potentially do that," Showalter said Thursday of sending Davis on a rehab assignment. "That's what we're thinking."
