Chris Davis launched his 40th home run of the season in Friday's 11-8 win over the Mariners. It was a long blast beyond the right field fence which landed on Eutaw Street. Davis is the fifth player in team history to reach the 40-homer mark in a season, joining Brady Anderson, Frank Robinson, Jim Gentile, and Rafael Palmeiro. After going homerless in 10 straight games, he has gone deep three times in his last four.
