Chris Cotillo of MLBDailyDish.com reports that there are a "lot of teams" monitoring the progress of Carl Pavano. Pavano missed the entire 2013 season after suffering a ruptured spleen, but he's resumed throwing on flat ground and will audition for teams off the mound next month. The 37-year-old right-hander posted a 6.00 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 33/8 K/BB ratio in 63 innings in 2012, but someone will surely be willing to offer him a minor league deal if his throwing session goes alright.
