Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports that free agent Joel Hanrahan could be an option to help fortify the back end of the Mets bullpen. The Mets were dealt a big blow on Sunday when it was confirmed Bobby Parnell would need to undergo Tommy John surgery. The veteran right-hander, who himself is working his way back from Tommy John, is expected to sign with a team fairly soon, with the Mets as "definitely a possibility" according to sources.
