Chris Capuano had the start of a lifetime on Friday, striking out a career-high 13 in a two-hit shutout of the Braves in New York. The outing was one of the best by any pitcher in baseball this season. Capuano needed 122 pitches to complete the fourth game of his career, and first since 2006. The double-digit strikeout effort was just his third in 150 career starts. Now 10-11 with a 4.43 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 136/44 K/BB ratio through 154 1/3 innings, Capuano will get the Marlins at home his next time out.
