The Pittsburgh Pirates placed starting pitcher Chris Archer (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with right shoulder inflammation. Pitcher Dario Agrazal was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move. Archer was pulled from his start on Tuesday and has endured a rough first year in Pittsburgh, going 3-9 with a 5.19 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 143 strikeouts in 119 2/3 innings (23 starts).
