Chien-Ming Wang has opted to stay with the Yankees following the first opt-out date in his minor league contract. Wang's agent, Alan Chang, confirmed the news to Focus Taiwan. Wang has compiled a 0.95 ERA and 7/3 K/BB ratio in 19 innings over three starts with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and reportedly showed improved velocity in his most recent outing. While he'll stick around as rotation depth for now, his contract has future opt-out dates of May 31, June 30, and August 10 and 31.
