Chien-Ming Wang (hamstring) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment next week. Wang tossed 35 pitches in a simulated game Wednesday and reported no lingering issues with his left hamstring. The 32-year-old right-hander should be ready to join the Nationals' starting rotation in early May, pushing Ross Detwiler either to the bullpen or to Triple-A Syracuse.
