Chen, who was optioned to High-A Frederick on Tuesday, has been dealing with some general fatigue, according to Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun. Chen will miss his scheduled outing Saturday against the Blue Jays, despite holding the Phillies scoreless over eight innings Monday night. He'll presumably make his next start when he's eligible to return from a 10-day stint in the minors, against the Indians on June 26. The Orioles are taking advantage of the options remaining on Chen's contract to free up an extra spot on the roster while the lefty rests. The team's decision not to place Chen on the disabled list suggests this is mostly just a case of general fatigue.
