Chen was placed on the 10-day DL on Friday with "tired arm," Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

The Marlins announced earlier in the day Friday that Chen was scratched from his next scheduled start, but they did not immediately provide a reason. Apparently Chen's battling some fatigue, though manager Don Mattingly has already said that he expects Chen to be good to go the next time through the rotation. Odrisamer Despaigne was recalled in a corresponding move and will presumably start in place of Chen on Saturday.
