Though he still remains a few weeks away, Chen has been steadily ramping up his activity in recent days. The veteran lefty held a 4.99 ERA and 1.30 WHIP over 110 innings pitched this season, before landing on the disabled list in late-July. He's running out of season, but hope remains that Chen will contribute innings down the stretch.
