Chen (15-4) tossed seven innings of one-run ball in a win over the Red Sox on Wednesday, allowing just three hits with four strikeouts against no walks. The lone blemish against Chen came on a solo homer from Xander Bogaerts in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the victory, Chen has now won eight of his last nine decision to put him just one off of the AL lead. As things line up, Chen will make two home starts next week, Monday against the Blue Jays and Sept. 21 against the Red Sox.
