EDGE Analysis
Andrew Triggs and the Oakland bullpen were just better on the other end, giving up only a single run. Chavez is showing himself to be pretty much the same pitcher he's been for the last few years, whether in the rotation or the bullpen -- an ERA north of 4.00 and a WHIP north of 1.30, but just enough strikeouts and solid outings to tease fantasy owners in need of pitching help. He's nothing more than a spot-start pickup in most formats.
