Chase Whitley took a no decision Monday, allowing three runs over five innings in the 6-4 extra-innings win over the Cardinals. Whitley had allowed just one run in his first five frames, but he exited the sixth with the bases loaded and no one out and watched two inherited runners come home to score. While he's managed a 2.57 ERA over three starts, the rookie has yet to retire a batter in the sixth inning. He'll try to be more efficient this weekend against the Twins.
