Chase Headley missed his second straight game Tuesday with a tight lower back. Headley attempted to get loose during stretching Tuesday morning, but his back did not respond well. "I don't think it's anything terribly serious by any means. But where we are right now, there's no reason to push it," said Headley. "I think that we will probably take a day or two and let it calm down, and hopefully I'll be back." The Padres will play it safe for now, but it doesn't sound like a situation which will have an impact on his preparation for the start of the season.
