Chase Headley (calf) said Tuesday that he "should have plenty of time" to get ready for Opening Day. The third baseman will be sidelined 2-3 weeks with a right calf strain, but he thinks he needs only 15-20 Cactus League at-bats from each side of the plate in order to get ready for the season. "If I can get 15 to 20 (at-bats) from both sides, that's pretty close to what I need," Headley said. "If it progresses the way that I hope - and I think that it will - then I should be fine. We should have plenty of time. The last thing we want to do, though, is have it become a lingering thing. So even when we think it's ready, we might give it a day or two."
