Chase d'Arnaud (thumb) began a rehab assignment with High-A Bradenton on Thursday. d'Arnaud has been sidelined since undergoing left thumb surgery late in spring training. He figures to need a few weeks' worth of rehab at-bats but could be optioned to Triple-A after that.
