Chase d'Arnaud had left thumb surgery Tuesday and will miss 6-8 weeks. D'Arnaud suffered a partially torn ligament in his thumb during a pregame baserunning drill earlier this month. The 25-year-old was in the mix as a bench player this spring, but now he'll be sidelined until sometime in May.
