Chase Anderson moved to 2-0 as a big leaguer after giving up five runs in 5 1/3 innings Saturday against the Dodgers.
If Anderson had dreamed of outdueling Clayton Kershaw, this probably wasn't exactly how it went. The Diamondbacks racked up seven runs in the second inning of this one, leading to a long wait for Anderson and a two-run top of the third. Anderson bounced back after that until the Dodgers rallied for five runs in the sixth, three of which scored off Anderson on Carl Crawford's homer. As odd as the circumstances were, we won't hold the runs against Anderson. He's a worthy play in NL-only leagues right now.
