EDGE Analysis
The veteran righty had settled into an impressive groove and entered Saturday's outing with a rock-solid 3.07 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 7.6 K.9 through his previous 18 outings. The Diamondbacks are a daunting matchup, so it's probably wise not to overreact to Saturday's so-so showing. Additionally, it's important to highlight how dominant he's been at home this season with a 1.91 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. Those are matchup-proof numbers. Unfortunately, Chacin lines up to make his next start on the road against the Rookies at hitter-friendly Coors Field.
