Cessa was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

The Yankees demoted Nick Goody to Triple-A in a corresponding move, allowing Cessa to rejoin the big club following a nearly three-week stint in the minors. Cessa, who has made three appearances with the Yankees on the season, is expected to be a low man in the bullpen pecking order and won't see many high-leverage situations with the spectacular trio of Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller and Dellin Betances around.
