Cessa will work at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, competing with teammate Jordan Montgomery and Double-A Trenton occupant Chad Green. The Yankees aren't expected to use a fifth starter until April 16, so manager Joe Girardi will take that extra time to decide.
