Cessa was undone by a big third inning, which included a two-run double from Chad Pinder and a two-run homer from Khris Davis. He was far from lights out over his time at Triple-A (4.15 ERA, 1.35 WHIP), and it shouldn't be surprising that major league hitters were able to touch him up. Expect Cessa to be demoted once CC Sabathia (hamstring) is ready to return.
