Cesar Ramos was lit up for nine runs -- five earned -- on 11 hits in Monday's loss to the Mariners. To his credit, Ramos had served up all nine of those runs by the end of the third inning. Unwilling to abuse his bullpen, Joe Maddon sent the left-hander back out there and Ramos collected three scoreless innings in what was already a laugher. And it's not like his teammates showed up to the park with their "A" games either, committing three errors behind him, with the southpaw committing a throwing error himself in solidarity. Ramos will carry his 3.71 ERA into his next outing against the Angels on the road.
