The Cardinals are said to be one of the teams who inquired on Fowler, but the two sides were unable to find a match. St. Louis is also more focused on upgrading their shortstop position. On a related note, the Rockies continue to tell teams that Troy Tulowitzki, Carlos Gonzalez, and Michael Cuddyer are not available via trade.
