CBS Sports' Danny Knobler reports that the Brewers have considered trading Corey Hart to free up salary to go after a pitcher.

Hart is penciled in as the first baseman for next season, but the Brewers will need to make sort of move in order to be in the market for big-name pitchers. The 30-year-old is owed $10 million in 2013 before hitting free agency. His limited no-trade clause allows him to block deals to 15 teams.
